The term surfactant is a condensed composition of “surface active agent”. Surfactants are compounds that lower the surface tension (or interfacial tension) between two liquids or between a liquid and a solid. Surfactants may act as detergents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, and dispersants.

Our silicone surfactants help you to shape your foam through their performance advantages the way you expect it to form grade of our surfactants accomplishes this goal by adjusting the reaction of the foaming mixtures. Silicone surfactants improve the quality of the foam by emulsifying incompatible formulation ingredients, lowering the surface tension, promoting nucleation of bubbles during mixing, stabilizing the rising foam by reducing stress concentrations in thinning cell-walls, and by counteracting the defoaming effect of any solids added to or formed in the process.
